My Fringe summer project

In about a month, I will be done with my master thesis. I am taking one week off to travel to Italy (road trip, baby !) and then I will be stuck here working all summer.

I desperately want to improve my crappy english, both the grammar and the vocabulary (a lot of work has to be done there). So I decided to challenge myself into writing one Fringe fic per episode. Each single episode ever aired. I have a grammar book to study, so I’ll use one lesson per fic, forcing myself to use what I’ve learnt each day; and I’m planning on learning 3 new words each day, using them in the fics as well.

Why do I want to do that ? Because I love to challenge myself, and I want to improve my english, and Fringe owns my life - so why not mix it all in one big project ? Plus, learning is one thing, but using what you learn is another one.

For this to be fruitful, I am going to need your help. Oh, fear not, I am not asking for much. I would like for you to give me a random number between 1 and 65, and one or two english words. You can submit as many as you want - there is only one condition : if I want to learn words, you guys have to send me words I don’t use. I’m not asking for complicated, obsolete words, just nouns, adjectives, verbs, even idioms you noticed are absent from my vocabulary. Words I could use again in normal conversations. Or words I might have misused before.

I will collect all of your answers and use them as I write. The more suggestions, the better. I should start the project during june, before my week off, and finish it…during summer. That gives you plenty of time to think about what to torture me with ;)

I will be forever grateful to all of those who will help me during this project. I don’t think I can do it without your support.

P.S: the numbers have nothing to do with the episodes order. I’ll just pick one random number per episode.
